Yes I sure did, willingly and merrily. No regrets, and much appreciation to Bob for the opportunity--I hadn't seen books like the ones I got in three years of collecting high grade FF except one of them, and on that one, I paid the same as the only other copy to hit the public market. My Spideys are better than my FFs, but that's only because I can't FIND the early FFs!!! 893frustrated.gif

Count me among the curious wondering where that White Mountain book is now 893scratchchin-thumb.gif I'd also really like to know what the price was...

i did see a few of the scans and such before they were snagged....like my avatar, they were spectacular. the #12 was killer. The #36s as well. cloud9.gif

Took another look at Bob's website...the goodies are disappearing quick. Conspicuous by their sudden absence are FF 2, 4, & 25.

And whats this thieves stuff? I didn't steal anything! (The sobbing I did while signing the check I'm sending off to Bob is testament to that). I prefer the "vultures descending on the fresh carcass" analogy much better. wink.gif

 

HooDeeDoo is more of a snake than a vulture. If HooDeeDoo posts a link to High Grade there's a few things you can be sure of:

 

1.) He has already cherry-picked the best stuff for himself, irrespective of what any of his "friends" are looking for. But he still wants everyone to drool over the left-overs to make him feel better about the thousands he's just spent.

2.) If HooDeeDoo ever posts about how tough a book is in 9.4, it's because he has a 9.6 in his collection and will shortly bring out a scan of it.

3.) If HooDeeDoo ever posts about how under-rated a title is you can be sure this is one particular title he has in High Grade and wants to make himself feel better about the thousands he spent.
