I have found the forum's grading to be on the low side by about .5 to a full point most of the time.

 

Or would that mean that CGC's grading is too lenient by .5 to a full point?

To be honest. If I received this book as a 8.5 I'd return it for a partial or complete refund.

The graders were all in a very generous mood when this book got graded.

I hear you. I'm just going off of the small sample I have taken over the past year. Some of my books, some belonging to others who then posted the grades. Boardies seem to be much tighter graders IMHO.
