Some tough to find Valiants for Sale at eBay

Looks like you got some killer prices on a few of those books...

Much, MUCH higher than the normal market averages.

 

Maybe your 1500+ feedback gave these buyers the confidence to

bid like crazy on those books... who knows?

 

$50+ for Unity 2000 #3 is easily an all-time record.

That one has never broken $25 before.

(And may not break $25 again)

You even described it as NM-, which is usually bad news for moderns.

 

$36 for a raw NM of Harbinger #1 is also a new Ebay high for the past 5 years.

I think that the large number of tough items I listed may have been a factor along with trusting my feedback...maybe when they checked out all my auctions they saw something else they wanted to bid on?!?...How about a promotional Solar card going for $12.50?!? And that Unity 2000 #3 going for more than the signed or gold editions...what's up with that? (although the Starlin art inside is fantastic!)

 

If you are the one who put together the valiantcomics.com website I just want to say...Great job!!! Awesome information...I think that the info about print runs is invaluable when buying and selling.

 

Now lets see how this second set of auctions does this week. Not nearly as many rare books which may affect the number of looks all my auctions get...but here's hoping for the best!

I saw that one and it made me jealous

 

I recently sold a CGC 9.2 Harbinger 1 for $35. Way to go !!!

 

I've got a raw 9.2 of the same book up on Ebay now ending this coming Sunday (as well as a few other early Valiants if anyone's interested), let's see if a trend is starting

That Solar card rarely shows up... it's a 1991 Valiant piece,

so it's definitely a pre-Valiant-hype artifact.

 

Unity 2000 # 3 has a reported print run of around 9,500...

but they just don't show up very often.

Maybe there are cases of them somewhere unsold.

Whats the difference between theHarbinger 1 TPB with the 0 One has a black bird on the bag and the other is blue. Which one is the rarer one. thanks.

About 100,000 copies of the Harbinger TPB with the "black bird" were made.

Supposedly 5,000 copies of the Harbinger TPB with the "blue bird" were made.

 

5,000 might be low... it might be 10,000... but "blue bird" is definitely the rarer version.
