Yes this is a Harvey stamp, not sure if that makes it different from a normal Harvey file copy but still pretty cool.

I have these two. The palookas have interesting notes on the interior.

Is that a Leon Harvey stamp on the cover or a signature, I assume a stamp from the way it is cut off.

The Tom Corbett books first appeared in the Dell Four-Color series for three issues (378, 400, 421) and then had an 8-issue run starting in 1953.

The 8-issue run (#4 to #11) all had great 50s sci-fi painted covers.

These are the 8 copies, all marked with the stamp:

Anybody know who liberated all the Harvey File copies and how they got to market? I remember reading the story of how a guy out here in LA went to New York and hosted the Harveys on his credit cards and talked them into selling him their properties to parlay into the movies.

 

Still would like to see a Hot Stuff movie, done with the right attitude I bet that would be a lot of fun.
