Yep, parody is fully protected by law, unless of course, you're up against Disney and their team of in-pocket Senators.

 

Same with copyright law and durations, the minute Mickey's first cartoon is up for public domain, the law is totally changed to "perpetual copyright" - and corporations wonder why today's kid scam digital media.
