Does eBay allow that as it is a competitive gateway to PayPal? I wouldn't think so.

I'm assuming that it must be allowed since eBay will reject a listing with an improper payment option... hm

Yup, you are right. If you go to his listing and click on the "Payment Type" link, eBay changed their policies again. Now they are back to accept many payment type.

I guess they received enough of pushback they had to open it back up as during the beginning of the year they went strictly PayPal, and only the potential buyer could ask if money orders were acceptable. Ugh!

Ebay doesn't recommend it 2) Ebay doesn't cover local pick ups in their

fraud protection 3) Payment has to clear you could be giving me a bogus

check 4) Money Laundering (which i HIGHLY doubt) but ebay suggested 5) My

main concern security, you could just bring a buddy with you and when you

ask to see it before paying for it just have him run by and grab it. So I

am sorry i can not risk local pick up, i mean unless you meant you'd just

like to pick it up in a public area after you already sent payment and it

cleared then ok.

Well there you go, nothing to worry about. Once he's got your cleared funds he'll arrange to meet up and hand over the books. I can't see how that could go wrong :insane:

No, I do not want to see it in person. I will provide EBAY with the original scans to prove your scam.

You are clearly making this up, i ask for proof in which case if you provide it i will GLADLY remove the listing until we sort it out however if you can't provide me with a picture of it along with an apx. date of when you bought it there is nothing i can do.

 

If you are being honest and have a legitimate concern please send a picture and the date of purchase, otherwise for all i know you could be trying to sell one and are trying to get mine removed so yours goes for more.

 

Like i said i have no problem removing the item if you can provide me with the least bit of evidence.
