according to his wiki bio robbins was also an accomplished painted who got exhibited in the whitney museum in the 50's and such. anyone know what his paintings looked like? i couldn't find a link.

My problem with Robbins' work is that the characters lack both grace and power. When he intended characters to be powerful, they looked awkward and clumsy. Compare this work to someone like John Buscema, who could draw characters that fit within their environment and possessed power and beauty.
