I had ASM #14 that had so much orange distrib ink on the top that I sold it. Way worse than this copy. Caome to find out the guy CGC'd it and it got a 7.5...

Pardon my ignorance, but that looks like a kid took a felt tipped pen and colored the edges of the comic...

 

Is this a common defect among silverage comics???

ok, so after sitting on this for months, I decided to send it Matt Nelson just to be safe along with a few books for CT removal, pro-screens, etc..it got a clean bill of health and today I found it I got a purple label. Oh the disappointment and the horror. God as much as I love this hobby, I hate the sickening feeling in my stomach.

 

sadly I bought it back last May before I joined this board on Ebay so the seller is long gone. Not much I can do but toss it in the garbage

CT on the bottom of the front cover, the top where many wew concerned is just color spray.

 

Also Paypal already told me that my case does not qualify for dispute resolution. This is almost deja vu with why I left the hobby back in 2003 all over again.

 

actually the seller is still on Ebay selling "CGC ready" books. I emailed him so lets pray that he responds.

 

otherwise, please advise on what I can and should do.

 

a) wait 24 hours for a respond before trying a charge back?

b) wait 48 hours?

c) or give him 72 hours

 

I already forward the old ebay noticed as well as the old paypal noticed on this book today so he has all the proof I think I need to send.

 

I did also contacted him thru Ebay asking nicely that I would like to get a full refund and not asking for shipping or CGC fee.

 

For all of his books on Ebay, he does state that slabbed book sales are final but nothing is said on raw books. I did remember in the past, he listed quite a few slabbed purple books that people returned so i am crossing my fingers and toes.

 

lastly, it is not Robojo33 but one of the other sellers that have been mentioned and inquired by others in the past 4 months.
