Do they offer half off on trades? You might be better off going that way instead.

Ya, you know I really have never been a big TPB fan but the more I think of it, it may be the best way of catching up on some the older arcs. The store has half off on everything and I'm pretty sure there are some trades scattered about the place.

The only reason I mention this is most of the LCS here charge $3 - $4 for a back issue that is bagged and in the bins. At that rate, it is definitely cheaper to go for the 1/2 price TPBs than the single issues.

Anyone know how long Morrison is doing Batman and Robin? I see DC has a HC solicited, but I won't get it if it's not the entire run.

Actually, never mind. It's only the first 6 issues, so it can't be the entire thing. I'm hoping the first 12 issues get collected into one book someday.

As far as I knew he was writing the whole series, which started out as a nine-parter but then stretched to a twelve-parter with a different artist for every three issue arc.

12 issues makes sense, actually. The first HC collects 6 issues, so half the story.
