That's the issue I have with sig lines. A signature is one thing, but the pictures are getting out of control. I'm probably in the minority here, but I don't like the pics much at all, I prefer something small and to the point, like what you're looking for, or a quote. Note that's "a" quote, not "several" quotes.

I don't mind sigs but I do believe some are just too much.

 

I don't want to see a 1024 x 768 image (yes someone has one doh! ). If the person is dead-set on displaying it that's fine but how about a thumbnail instead of a full image?

 

The most common screen resolutions used nowadays are 1024x768 and 1280x800. So if someone is going to post an image that exceeds 800 px wide if will cause many other users to scroll to the right to read posts....

I love that picture.

 

Do you guys and gals think that maybe sometimes people don't know how to crop or resize pics? Some of the tech savvy guys might take it for granted that there are lots of people who don't know how to do relatively simple stuff like that.

 

BTW I just have sigs turned off. It's easiest for me as I get distracted easily.
