Fantastic Four #112 CGC 9.8 for $24,000

Green Lantern #76 CGC 9.6 for $30,500

Well, the $5K for an Albedo 2 CGC 9.8 did not shock me recently. I had a feeling it would go this high with only two in the census.

But that New Mutants 98 still makes me shake my head in wonder as I just would never spend money like that for this book. Maybe it was Ryan Reynolds. :o

I still think that was a great price. Wish I had $318K to invest at the time.

From what I saw, the other bidder was ready to go higher.

Every time Rick threw a bid in, he got outbid immediately.

Who knows where it would have gone?

I recently sold a 9.8 Kazar the Savage #4 at auction for $12.

I honestly think that is shockingly high for a Kazar #4.

Yeah....the winner may very well have been ready to take it to 400K+. Who knows?

Would have been nice to snag it for $317K. I think that purchase will turn out to be a great investment.

Was this the one that was bought on behalf of someone by the rocker that owns a comic business?
