How in lord's name do you get a search field to display the same across all browsers with CSS??? I'm talking about the vertical alignment of the text in the field.....

 

I'm working on my 1st pro website and the search field and associated search icon are killing me.....

Yes, that is VERY Cheap, especially if it's standards compliant and cross-browser compatible.
