Purchased from a reputable dealer on the boards as a VF 8.0, and I agree with this assessment. Lays nice and flat, with plenty of gloss, one significant flaw to mention is the staple popping through the bottom front cover. This is pretty common on square-bound books, and I think within the allowable flaws for this grade. (note: the "wave" on the bottom front cover is an error resulting from my scanner)

Next up back to graded books, another Frazetta cover here. I can't comprehend why CGC gave this book only a 4.5, it looks a heck of a lot better to me.

But, as they say, I live by the sword Nice candidate for a Signature Series, if Frank should ever grant another.
