Time for another Bronze Age sale, centered on mid-grade Batman, Detective Comics, and related titles. Depending on how things go, I'll branch out to some other similar books... maybe even some Marvels. :o

USA Shipping

I can ship up to 10 books US Priority Mail for $4.75. After 10, please add 50 cents per book, not to exceed a maximum of $10.20 for flat-rate priority mail shipping.

 

International Shipping

International orders will use the Global Priority flat rate envelope, so 5 can go to Canada for $10.88, to the UK for $12.78, etc. International buyers of more than 5 books, PM me and we'll work it out.

Detective Comics #421 Neal Adams cover. The Batman story this issue is both written and drawn by Frank Robbins in his Milt Caniff style. Batgirl has another short story, and the reprint highlight of this issue is a short Alfred story drawn by Jerry Robinson, originally published in 1944. Inside, Frank Robbins scripts and Bob Brown & Giordano handle the artwork for the Batman story "The Most Dangerous 20 Miles in Gotham City." Detective Comics 437. Jim Aparo does the Golden Age-inspired cover art, as well as illustrating Archie Goodwin's Batman -script "Deathmask." This was Aparo's first Batman story outside the pages of The Brave & The Bold. The second feature is the first appearance of Manhunter by Goodwin and a young Walt Simonson. Their story "The Himilayan Incident" won the ACBA Shazam Award for best short story of the year. FN condition discoloration spots top left corner back cover $5
