Last book of the night...I'll check in with all you night owls tomorrow morning. Thanks to all watchers & buyers!

 

Batman 244: "The Demon Lives Again" by Denny O'Neil, Neal Adams and Dick Giordano, with Adams providing the classic cover. This issue marks the conclusion of O'Neil's original Ras al Ghul storyline. Also has a Robin back-up story written by Elliot Maggin, with Novick & Giordano on the art. Condition is Very Good: the crease at the spine between the staples is actually a tear for the first 1/2" in from the spine.

Batman 230: Neal Adams "Black Panther" cover. In VG+ condition. In addition to the front cover wear visible in the scan, the inside and back covers have very very slight foxing. $5

 

Detective Comics 472 Death of Hugo Strange Fine Minus condition-- note the sun shadow discoloration on back cover. $3

 

Batman Special 1. Fine Plus condition- just a bit of yellowing/tanning of the pages. $3

 

New Gods 2 Fine condition: slight crease along right hand side. First Darkseid cover $4

 

Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen 138 Fine Minus condition. $2

 

New Gods 3 Fine condition. $3

 

New Gods 5 Fine Minus condition. There is a crimp at the top edge of the front cover, just above the N in the New Gods logo. $2

 

Forever People 6 Very Good / Fine condition-- wear along top edge. $2

 

Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen 146 Fine condition: some tanning of the back cover. $3

 

Mister Miracle 7 Very Good Plus condition: slight overhang along right hand side has become a bit frayed. There are also a couple of half-dollar-sized discoloration circles on the inside front cover. $3

 

Forever People 8 Fine/Very Fine condition. Tiny corner crease, bottom right hand corner. Previous owner's name written along top edge back cover $5

 

Mister Miracle 9 Very Good Plus condition: wear along right hand edge. Origin of Mr. Miracle. $3

 

New Gods 10 Fine Plus condition: non-color-breaking crease on the back cover near the spine. $4

 

 

Captain America 179. Fine Minus condition: some creasing bottom right hand corner, and a 1/2" tear on the back cover. $1

 

 

Wonder Woman 196. Fine condition, with some very thin color breaking creases on the front and back covers. As well, there is a production wrinkle going through the width of the book, through the Wonder Woman logo. $10

 

 

 

DC Special Series 16 Death of Jonah Hex Spectacular Very Good condition, with wear along the top edge as seen in the front cover scan. As well, there is a 3/4 inch tear from the left edge of the back cover, extending in to the Bat Lash back cover panel. $20

 

 

Batman 244: Very Good: the crease at the spine between the staples is actually a tear for the first 1/2" in from the spine. $9

The 30-page story of the death of Jonah Hex, "The Last Bounty Hunter," is written by Michael Fleisher and drawn by the great Russ Heath. In addition, there are backup stories featuring Scalphunter and Bat Lash. The Bat Lash story is written by his co-creator, Denny O'Neil.

 

Comic is in Very Good condition, with wear along the top edge as seen in the front cover scan. As well, there is a 3/4 inch tear from the left edge of the back cover, extending in to the Bat Lash back cover panel.
