He's got radioactive blood

Ok, it's been a while since I've sold anything here; I've been sticking mainly with purchasing/collecting. But, I came across a (supposedly) OO collection of Silver Age books (the guy seemed about the right age). I got a nice early Avengers run out of the deal, along with some TOS. The Amazing Spider-Mans were just sitting there, so I took them too. Spideys seem to sell well here, and I don't really collect this title, so I thought I'd throw 'em up and see what happens.

The guy didn't take particularly good care of them, or else I'd be sitting on a mint here. I would say the grades range from 1.0 up to 5.5/6.0's. There are 48 books total, starting with #20 and going up to #83.

The Negs:

They were sitting in really old yellowed comic bags with old backers.

A good majority of them have foxing on both the front and back interior covers.

At least 25 of them have a slight staple pull, a few have a full staple pop.

The Positive:

They are all in brand new bags w/ new boards.

They are all very flat (no spine roll)

There are some key issues

I would like to sell these as a lot. If they don't go as a group, I will consider selling them individually, but let's see what happens first. I take PayPal, personal check or money order (gotta give those last two time to clear before I ship).

I will list the issues with grades (I put quite a few of them up on "buddy can you spare a grade", just to get a feel for them. In those cases, I took the average of the grades given)

I have scans of about 15 of them. If there are any books you want to see in particular, let me know and I will try to get on it asap.

Finally...trying to grade as conservatively as possible, I came up with an Overstreet Value of $1,034 for the run. I am asking less than 60% of guide for them

$425.00. Shipping will be $15.00 in the US. First :takeit: wins and if anyone buys with the I'll take it, I am throwing in an Adventure Comics #283 (2.5) 1st Phantom Zone.

Alas, no #50. I think he might have sold it seperately as I wasnt the first one to look at his books. Also missing were issues 21-31. Still had to grab the lot though!

ok guys, that's the scans I have so far. Anything anyone wants to see in particular, let me know. If my asking price is way out of whack, let me know too (by PM please)! I usually see even low to midgrade early Spidey's do well on here so I figured going about 55% lower than guide would be a good place to start.

Knocked it down to less than 60% of guide.
