I'd call that a 5.5 without the stain....3.5 with it, although I was tempted to go 4.0. That is one nice book.....keeping it ? GOD BLESS...

I would say very likely 3.5. Slight chance at 4.0 and very slight chance at 3.0.

 

3.5 odds 75% 4.0 odds 15% 3.0 odds 10%

 

If that book came back as a 3.0 I would be super pissed off and send it in again.

Unless the staining is worse than it looks here.
