C'mon guys...saying that this is the first Thor appearance is like saying that the first Conan appearance is from "Cuentos de Abuelito" 1952, or that's like saying that the Hulk is a rip-off from Dr Jekil and MR Hide...

The Marvel's first was the first Thor as we really know it...hammer and all...

There really is nothing "new" under the sun. Everything is pretty much built on something else.

 

It's no surprise to see some borrowed material in our favorite heroes.

 

I agree with Rodan, it's great to see this stuff traced backwards!
