They were $30 at Heroes. If I had known people didnt mind paying $30 for a small sketchbook, I gladly would have picked some up and offered them at cost. Who knew?

 

For me, it totally depends on the artist and the print run. For example, given the same print run and price for Rob Liefeld? Nah. Brian Bolland? Quite another story altogether.

 

Ok, I might pay someone $30 to burn a Liefeld one for me. But only if they used lighter fluid and got it on video.

My prior thoughts that Liefeld appears to be so universally loathed contrasted his autograph line at heroes greatly. He had a long line for all his signings and people seemed pretty pleased with what they got (unless you count the people who were told they had to buy a print for him to sign NM 87).

If I had high-grade copies of NM 87 & 98, I'd get them signed by Liefeld all day long - no sense in leaving money on the table when I flip them
