Question on Rating with Autographs...

5 posts in this topic

I just got my The Stuff of Legend books including the new 3rd issue autographed by the artists and writers today and was wondering if autographed issues help or hurt when collecting...should these issues get sent for grading?

Thanks!

I personally love to get raw books signed if they are for my collection, esp. if I get to meet the creator. I also have a fair number of Signature Series books, which are books for which there was a CGC authorized representative to witness the signatures. A lot of people, especially around these parts, prefer the Sig Series books.

I would not suggest that you get the SOL books graded, as the sigs cannot be authenticated, and rather than being sig series, they will come back with a green Qualified label.

Welcome.
