If you have not yet read my tale of woe, I am unable to make it to SDCC due to injury to both my knees and a foot My tragedy could be your gain though...

 

Last year I stayed at a house located in the Golden Hills of San Diego, about a mile or so from the convention center. The people running the house are very cool and one of them worked the con.
