first book I ever bought was X-Men 148....got it at a garage sale for 10 cents...was hooked ever since. First book I ever bought as a collectable was Iron Man #3...I was 8 years old.....guess I knew I liked the silver age, even at 8.

Read a coverless Adv Comic wl Curt Swan LSH team when I was around 6 yrs old. Think the 1st comic I bought was a DC 100 pgr w/ golden age Batman on cvr. I still have it in a long box !!!

I can't remember my first comic, but it was probably a hand-me-down from my brother. I know I used to read a lot of Archie comics, and my brother's Sad Sack comics. Some Caspar and Ritchie Rich, too. When I finally discovered the Superman books, I never looked back.
