Sal Buscema SS?

I don't know if he's already been done, or if anyone's planning anything, or would like to plan anything, but I'd be incredibly appreciative if someone could possibly set up a Sal Buscema signing.

 

I was just posting in Copper in the Sal Buscema appreciation thread, and thinking back, I guess I never really realized how incredibly powerful and important this man and his art was to me during my early years in comics.

 

But the fact is, the only comic I ever remember even reading as a kid was Rom #47, by Mantlo and Buscema...

 

And then, when I got into comics in 1990, he was the artist who drew Spectacular Spidey, month in and month out, for nearly a decade, a lot of it during JM DeMatteis' stellar run. When the Image guys were all jumping ship, and it seemed like everybody was trying to get his share of the hot artist pie, Sal was busy just doing what he did best. And I looked forward to seeing his awkward and angular art every single month. I really, really did. I loved it then, and I love it now. I just didn't realize how much until I really thought about it.

 

So....if anyone's got anything in the works, please please please let me know.

Sean is the man for setting up the signing. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Buscema offered. Its worth waiting whatever length of time to have a SS book from a creator such as Buscema. Thanks goes to Sean again for hooking us up and my fingers are crossed for another opp.

Being a spoon is one thing but being a spoon to oneasian is a completely different animal. I don't think I've seen a post where he wasn't trying to help out another board member or compliment a book.
