I looked at Mile High today for something and ran across a modern GI Joe (IDW) CGC 10.0 (some incentive cover) for like $1600!!!!! WTF!!!!!! It's 2 years old and there's like 5 copies in 10.0!!!! (and there's only like 3 people and me that even buys CGC GI Joe's :

That price looks like a typo to me. Based on their typical pricing on books someone must have forgotten to add the "1" at the start for $1560. Looks like someone might lose their job if it is scooped for only $560.

Bank loans based on the value of the collection. Hence, the consistently high prices on everything.

 

I'd hate to be responsible for paying those loans back.
