Someone asked if I'd post post big scans of the book when it arrived so here they are:

 

The scuffing around Hulk's face is marks on the slab.

 

 

You can not see the crease on the back cover on the scan that keeps this as a 8.0. Even in the original 600 dpi 5MB scan (before photobucket shrunk it down) you can not see the crease. You have to be holding the book the right way in person to see it, I can see how CGC missed it the first time it was graded. I do not think there will ever be a better looking 8.0 Hulk 1.

 

 

It's a gorgeous book and I am happy to have it in hand.

 

Again I would like to thank everyone, both on those who use these boards and those who do not, for providing me the history of the book. I think I have a complete chain of evey owner and sale since the Pacific Coast collection was acquired to when the book arrived in my hands.
