Comic Art Con Wrap Up

1 post in this topic

Thank you! Those are the first two words that come to mind. Thank you to everyone who participated, our vendors, guests, and attendees. There were lots of new faces as well as familiar ones including those who have been to every show since day 1. There was lots of action; buying, selling, trading, showing off...it was great to see so many people show up with art. In the age of the super sized con it is nice to see that a small intimate affair such as ours can be such a fun and wothwhile event. There were a few empty tables due to no shows but beyond that we couldn't be happier.

We would like to extend a special thanks to Gene Colan and Rudy Nebres whose presence made for a better afternoon. We would also like to thank Bill Cox and CAF for their support from the very beginning.

We have yet to choose our 2011 dates but when we do we will let everyone know, (we are shooting for March & September). To all those who would like to attend and are not local, seriously think about flying in for the weekend. The hotel is 15 minutes from Newark Airport and a room can be booked for around $100 on Expedia. If we can get a bunch of people who will be staying at the hotel we can organize a get together at the bar the night before. They make great martinis!

Here is a link to the pictures from the day. We hope you enjoy them.

Thanks again!
