Congrats! My wife is just entering the 3rd trimester, so I know what you're going through. I've cut back on comics quite a bit, but I'm confident that after we settle into our new budget routine, I can start buying some again.

Ive been a foster parent for 5 years and an adoptive parent for 3.

 

What I've learned.

 

Kids are cool. Hang out with em. Teach em. You will learn as much from them as they from you.

 

Its fun to have kids. Enjoy it.

Be good to your wife during her pregnancy. She'll need you more than ever before, even if she doesn't say so. But honestly, being there for my wife during her pregnancy and the delivery was some of the best moments of my life.

I can. Make sure you take care, get her the vitamins her and the baby will need and relax! Pregnancy is a beautiful ime, and you should cherish this "start" on a new journey. It seems long, but it goes fast enjoy it. And prepare to ball your eyes out the first time you hold that baby. I just balled like a little girl, nothing ever meant so much as holding my son the first time.

 

Being a parent is a great and difficult experience. But worth any sleepless nights or krappy diapers the future brings. Congratulations!
