… would be Gabriel Rodriguez and Chris Ryall and Joe Hill doing some signings in Pittsburgh, right?

 

Well daydream no longer: Gabe, Chris and Joe will be touching down in Pittsburgh February 9th , to be around when they begin filming the pilot episode of LOCKE & KEY. It isn’t very often that the three of them all wind up in the same town together, so we figured we ought to take advantage and have them do a signings. Here’s where we’ll be:

 

• February 9th, 7 – 9 PM , New Dimension Comics, Century III Mall, West Mifflin, PA. Signing

 

Joe Hill is the author of a novel, Heart-Shaped Box, a collection of short stories, 20th Century Ghosts, and an occasional comic book series, Locke & Key. His second novel, Horns, will be available from William Morrow, in February of 2010.

 

Gabriel Rodriguez comic artist and illustrator.Been working professionally since 2001, working mainly with IDW Publishing. Co creator of Locke & Key, with

talented writer Joe Hill (Heart-Shaped Box, 20th Century Ghosts). Also worked on CSI comics, the comic adaptation of Clive Barker's The Great And Secret

Show, Beowulf and George Romero's Land Of The Dead. Also done illustrations for Joss Wheddon's Angel comics, Transformers and Astroboy Movie

Adaptation.

 

Chris Ryall joined IDW Publishing as Editor-in-Chief in July 2004 and was named Publisher in October 2005, overseeing the company's expansion and increasing profile in the comics industry and the world at large. Landing the Transformers, Angel and Doctor Who licenses, the Gene Simmons comics imprint and the move to classic comic strip reprints are just a few of the highlights of Ryall's tenure at the company so far.
