I know!

How about running a Golden Age Hierarchy, and include all sorts of Cap #1, and Marvel Comics #1, and Marvel Mystery #8, #9, and Cap #74, and VOTE THEM ALL OFF BEFORE ALL AMERICAN #25!!!

MWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAA!!!

Great idea. :idea::banana:

Was thinking of running a GA poll after the SA had finished.

I predict that Action #1 will be the winner.

Y'know, I was just looking at the remaining books in the hierarchy poll and I think we have have a pretty good idea of the top 5 books.

However, I'm not very well versed on books outside of Marvel/DC/Harvey and would love to know what a list of the top 10 non-Marvel, non-DC Silverage books would look like? (shrug)

Would the following (in no particular order) be potential candidates:

-Doctor Solar #1

-Richie Rich #1

Hot Stuff #1

-Adv of the Fly #1

-Eerie #1 (Warren)

-Vampi #1

-Dbl Life of Private Strong

-ZAP #0

Yes, but it'll be ever so much fun watching the Timelys fall one by one by one, as All Star #33 remains round after round after round...

Isn`t ZAP like the TMNT 1 of the era as being a low print run highly sought after indy?

Good question. Obviously Little Dot #1 should be in there (much more important than Richie Rich #1).

You should start a thread!

Agree that Little Dot #1 is more important the Richie Rich #1, however LD1 was published in 1953 and is therefore a pre-Silverage book.

It's afternoon

It's now night time :makepoint:

Been away for the weekend and didn't fancy trying to do a poll via an iphone.

You don`t need to apologize to Bill just because he has no life!

I did have a touch of cabin fever yesterday. The weather was lousy and we were stuck inside the apartment all day. TV here is deplorable, and we had played about 10 games of rummy, so my patience was wearing thin for anything resembling a diversion
