I predict easy six figure prices for both.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the 4 exceed the 2.....it's one of the last of the early Marvels with NO 9.6 copies. GOD BLESS...

It took 11 years for a 9.6 #4 to surface. Heads are going to roll.

Same. Oddly enough, both books have the exact same number of copies in 9.4+, but it's 5-4 for #2 and 8-1 for #4.

.....and it certainly wasn't due to a lack of trying. GOD BLESS....

A bunch of new 9.6 Fantastic Fours up. Looks like lots to snipe in this one! :luhv:

Still waiting to see the other keys like AF15, FF 1, X-Men 1, Daredevil 1, Avengers 1, etc. FAR too early to call this anything close to second-best behind Pacific Coast yet--I see no definitive evidence yet that it eclipses Curator.

Or White Mountain, which doesn't always get the respect it deserves.

Not for lack of effort on my part doh!

The White Mountains I've seen raw SEEM TO ME to have better gloss than Pacific Coast....but not exponentially so. They do, however, have complete runs. That should be a deciding factor when ranking SA Peds. GOD BLESS...

Jimbo I am def a friend of that saying.

.....yep, we're still in a key-centric hobby, that much is a given. GOD BLESS...

and the white mountain keys are hard to beat

After seeing those ASMs, this pedigree gets the official Sheen Seal of Epicness:

I don't even like ASM all that much and those two are exciting to me

I think the final hammer prices are going to be mind-melting. I may not play in this league, but I sure do love being a spectator.

I'm thinking $150,000. Plus the juice. The Silver Age is bouncing back after all the advances of GA in the last year....

Yeah, there's going to be a frenzy for the #4.

If I actually had a collection, I'd cash out and take a run at this book, if for no other reason than to play "keep away" with ASM collectors for a few years. lol

:roflmao:

I thought I had a 9.4 a while back. Subbed it several times "only" to get a 9.2.

That book has been on many a collector's want list in that grade.

So I haven't been keeping up on this ped.

Anything else as exciting?

I'm looking forward to the nice undercopies that people will be selling off to afford these books.
