"Please say the following when you show the images. They're scans from bad b&w photocopies where were sent folded hence some of the images might have lines through them."

That was a great article! I enjoyed reading it, especially after having read Kubert's Dong Xoai book. It's pretty unreal that this signing took place, it took a little bit of luck and help from Sean Harmon, Joe at CGC, and Sam and his agent! After reading that article I feel very fortunate to have been a part of this!

 

In other news.....

 

I am anxiously awaiting the scans of the FINISHED books!!! This opportunity with Sam has been really amazing. Sam's agent has been awesome to work with and I'm still pretty shocked and amazed by Sam's skill and professionalism. Once I get word that the books are at CGC I will post that announcement. Till then I'll keep for the scans!

That's entirely up to Sam. He hasn't ruled it out, but I don't see one happening real soon. He didn't like the sketch cover paper, or the size. However he did start to get comfortable towards the end so......

The books are all at CGC! Sam mailed the scans of the sketches to his agent, so hopefully this weekend I should be able to post all of the pics! The only bummer is Joe Pierson gets to see them before all of us
