Unfortunately CGC does not label the variants for this comic as you have indicated, so the slots are created in accordance to our labeling. I have added the Second Printing of issue #1, however.

ok, i appreciate the assistance; in an effort to add books to the slots accordingly, would it be logical to do something like:

Lady Mechanika #0 Convention Edition (i.e. same as current labeling)

but add

Lady Mechanika #0 Long Beach Convention Edition

as well?

This way, the 'Convention Edition' labeling can be retained and assigned for the New York Cover and still have a separate slot for the Long Beach Cover?

Or ... is it just the way it is? Again, your attention to this is appreciated by more than just me.

Since the New York Comic Con edition states that on the cover, we have now created a separate variant for that edition. If anyone has one that is currently labeled as "Convention Edition" you would be able to send it in for free re-labeling by CGC (please list the book on a ReHolder submission form for tracking purposes). :foryou:

Hi Gemma, didn't see this added to the registry yet, so i'd thought i'd make the request --

Issue #2 of Lady Mechanika hit last month ... here are the preferred additions to the set listings:

Lady Mechanika 2

Lady Mechanika 2 Garza Cover

Lady Mechanika 2 Benitez Variant Cover

Lady Mechanika 2 Garza Variant Cover

Lady Mechanika 2 SDCC Convention Edition

Lady Mechanika 2 Comic-central.com Edition

It would appear that Aspen is prepared to release these issues once every 6 months or so; issue #3 stack looks to be around December 5th / 2011 sometime -- so we should be good for the time being with what's listed above.

Note: the collected editions are not listed here ... not sure if they should be added to this set or not.

thanks a bunch -

Matt

Hi,

I just wanted to follow up on what Matt had listed.

In looking at the set, for #2 it looks like the RI Benitez variant sketch cover is missing. I am assuming that there would be just one slot for the standard A&B covers by Benitez and Garza, respectively.

It would be great if the collected editions, collecting #0 and #1 were also added, but can understand if not. I believe there are two Collected Variants, the regular cover and Aspenstore variant.

Thanks,

Frank

Issue #3 of Lady Mechanika hit right on schedule ... here are the preferred additions to the set listings:

Lady Mechanika 3

Lady Mechanika 3 Tan Cover

Lady Mechanika 3 Benitez Variant Cover

Lady Mechanika 3 Tan Variant Cover

Lady Mechanika 3 Aspen Comics Holiday Edition

Lady Mechanika 3 Pulp Comics Edition

Additionally, it would still appear that Lady Mechanika 2 Garza Cover is still missing from the listing as well.

Did i miss anything Frank?

M.

I think the Lady Mechanika still needs some updates.

Issue 3 needs both Billy Tan covers, both the regular cover and the sketch cover (retailer incentive edition):

Issue 0 is missing the following Benitez cover. Note, this cover is different from the 3rd printing of issue 0, which is more muted in color.

Another update to the Lady Mechanika set:

The set currently has one Campbell variant for issue 1. But there are actually TWO Campbell covers. The 1st is the regular cover:

The 2nd is the sketch cover (retailer incentive edition) of the above:

Just one more update. The set currently has 1 Garza cover for issue 2.

But, as with the Campbell cover, there are TWO Garza covers for issue 2.

The 1st is the regular cover:

The 2nd is the sketch cover (retailer incentive edition) of the above:

Hello =,

Sorry for resurrecting an old post.

But im getting my first CGC done.

I have a Lady Mechanika 0

Cover F (Long Beach Comic Con 2010 Edition – Limited to 500 Copies)

Will they enter the entire information on the label like this.

What made me a little nervous after reading the post.

They update the comments to :Indicia reads ""Second Printing"".

Now with out explaining 2nd printing. It really not a second print.

I know Lady M has allot of #0- But will they explain in detail on the label where the comic came from. Because to me 2nd print is saying it not apart of the 500 that was made at the convention.

Just trying to learn how the process works. Thank you

C

Welcome to the boards. It should say "Convention Edition". ... although a quick search of the image base suggests there are a copy or two with the 'Indicia' second printing on the label.

I don't know what CGC will put on the label. It's a good book to have though ... i've had several copies at multiple points although none of mine ever said 'second printing' ... (shrug)

Good luck.
