Yep, and I was just skimming channels, saw that Shopping Network debacle and just had to snap a few pics for you guys.

 

I do agree with some comments that this type of things has gone on before, but now the Shopping Network has an ENTIRE SECTION devoted to "Collectible Comics" and it's looking far more like 1993 than 1998.

You should hear them hyping the Marvel movies, comic prices skyrocketing, huge investment potential, etc.

 

It's insane, and when the Shopping Channel is working the speculator trends, the end ain't far behind.

 

WOW! All that hype, those guys look like they can sell folks to sign up for underwater fire prevention classes.

Somebodys' mother is going to think that this is a great investment for somebodys' son. Any idea of how many actually sold ?
