You shouldn't have that bottle of tea on those comics. (tsk)

his superpower is the ability to feel what comics he's digging through without looking down. you see how focused he is.

I strongly sense DrWatson and joeypost do not inhale, but in this pic...it sure looks like it.

Nice report!!

Hey, I forgot to mention the Flips. Ma, Pa, Jeff, Charles and cousin Steve were all in attendance and handing out good deals as usual. I did notice Jeff going out of his way to help a former female wrestler. He was showing her all of his best moves.

Although I try to treat all my customers the same, she really, really appreciated the level of customer service I provided, so i gave her my number (so she can call and order more supplies).

Actually I have known her for a while. She is from Joisey and places orders every couple of months or so.

Sooooo is she hot lol

The first time I have been to Philadelphia. I met joeypostal at exit 407 on I-40 in Tennessee and headed to the City of Brotherly Love Wednesday afternoon. A fun time was had by all. A big thank you to Dale Roberts for letting us invade his space. Buy something from him. He's a good guy.

The biggest mistake made, that I could see, was that we paid about $10 in tolls to get in to Philadelphia and only had to pay $6 in tolls to get out. We would have paid much, much more in order to leave.

Best buys – A bacon, egg and cheese bagel from the Reading Market, an Amish made cinnamon roll from the Reading Market and the three Astonishing X-Men books I picked up for a total of $6 at the show. Oh, and a Dark Beast sketch by Tom Raney on an Astonishing X-Men 17 sketch cover that looks amazing. I forgot to photograph it before subbing it.

Dumbest question asked to me by a con nerd – So, if your booth is 541, then where is booth 542?

Total number of hugs received from forumites – Five; spiderman-on-tilt, ciorac, cgcworld, joeypost and mutantkeys.

Most calm forumite in the face of danger – gemma

My biggest regret – Not buying back up cinnamon rolls on Saturday as the Amish bakery was closed on Sunday.

First time for everything – Coldcocked by Joe Pierson as I rounded the corner of a booth at the show. Pierson said, “I’m surprised you were surprised that someone would hit you out of the blue.” What can I say? I didn't see him. He blended in with the rest of the nerds.

What you get when you cross Rogaine and Viagra? – MCMiles’ hair.

Three things that still make me laugh – 1) “It’s not the driving. It’s the sitting.” 2) “I’d hate to see the horse they cut that off of.” 3) “I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours.”

Most difficult thing to find Philadelphia – Ice cream after dinner.

Best thing about the show – Onsite pressing (kudos to www.CFPComics.com aka joeypost) and onsite CGC grading.

Briefest Forumite sightings – Esquirecomics and dem1138

Most surreal moment - Watching Cash Cab on the Discovery Channel and seeing a shot of Graham Cracker's comic book store on the southwest corner of Michigan Ave. & Madison St. in Chicago.

Something I’ll never do again – Take a friendly pat on the back at face value.

Biggest smoker - jonjespersen

Forumite(s) I wish was there – wassonff, GACollectibles and/or Timmay.

Biggest whiney fanboy – Anybody who received a grade they didn’t agree with from CGC’s onsite grading.

Best surprise – Learning Phil Jimenez, Astonishing X-Men artist, was at the show.

Hottest Convention “Celebrity” – Julia Benson

Most useless piece of information - Wizard World Volunteers. You give them a t-shirt and they think they're Barney Fife.

My two SS books graded on site:
