I even know this one guy who drove off from a gas station with the gas nozzle still in his gas tank. What a maroon, eh?

 

Guilty as charged. But, if you are referring to me, I don't remember that incident. But, I have done it. :blush:

You tricked me with a ruse so hackneyed it would make Stan Lee blush.

To make matters worse, it was on the way back from DC and Allan & Arex were with me.

 

OK since we are coming clean...I drove off with the gas nozzle in the tank once too

Thanks to all who answered. I just thought that some of th prices were 'insane,' even though I sometimes spend 'big' money on books myself. I was actually amazed at the results of this auction. I was blown out of the water on a lot of items that I thought for sure I would win!
