Montclair Adult School Class-Comic Books & Their Impact On Your Life-10/4,11,18

I will be teaching the class "Comic Books And Their Impact On Your Life" at the Adult School of Montclair, NJ in October. The dates are 10/4, 10/11 and 10/18. Each session runs from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Enrollment is limited to only 25 students.

 

While discussing a history of the medium, we will incorporate an analysis of how comic books, their characters, concepts and language have grown from their beginnings as disposal entertainment to being the driving force behind popular culture in this country.

 

Each class will focus on a different era or eras, in a primarily linear progression.

 

The cost for the entire three session course is $40.
