Every year I try to expand my Christmas cover collection and display. I have noticed others buying Christmas books :mad: so if I cannot have them in my collection I would at least like to see what I am missing!

 

There is a fun thread in the Gold Comics forum with lots of vintage Christmas comics...

My dad, Ted Colabuono, was stationed on the USS Spangler in the South Pacific during the winter of 1944. He was an aspiring cartoonist who loved Foster and Raymond. After the war he found work at the US Steel plant in Joliet, IL, and with three little ones to feed, put his cartooning dreams on permanent hold.

 

I found this drawing while going through some of his sketch books.
