Hmm? 9.8 Bronze Captain America? 9.6? 2.0? Tell me what you think!

What kind of boxes? Surely not quarter bins?

Anyhow, 9.4 verging on 9.6.

Thanks,

Yeah . . . right - my tomato boxes, of course. In fact I pulled the whole 4-issue X-Men crossover run:

this not so good. 9.0-9.2 corners too rounded and more spine breaks

*edit*

ummm... I didn't notice that area above NF's head on the right side. I would have to lower my grade to 7.5. confused-smiley-013.gif

I can see the Cap #174 coming back with a CGC grade of 9.4, 9.6 might be stretching a litle, but I have been wrong before.

But Cap #175, IMO is not as sharp, (cover wise) and it looks to be in the

9.0/9.2 range.

this one is a 9.2 for sure, LRC blunt knocks it out of solid 9.4.

Supa,

Well, of course I was going to lead with my best,

The first and final book of the run:

Should I offer them individually? Or as a group?

Geez,

I've had these books for 30 years and you guys can grade them in 30 seconds - wiithout even holding them no less! shocked.gif

9.2 maybe a 9.4 if the graders hit the pipe, blush.gif but too many colour breaking spine stress. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Ditto, although I think 9.4 is within the realm of possibility from what I can see. I'm pretty comfortable that it's not a 9.6 though.

I agree, though I think a 9.0 is also possible. There's some long spine stresses that put it on the cusp of those two grades, plus the corners are blunted/rounded.

I think 6.5 is too harsh on #172. I'd say maybe 7.5 or so.

172 6.5/7.0

173 VF 8.0

174 NM 9.4 Get it slabbed! thumbsup2.gif

175 VF+/VF-NM 8.5/9.0

Aces,

Thanks, but why bother? I doubt I''d get more than $50 for it slabbed, if that. Why give CGC 70% of my gross (and probably 80% of my net) on this book? On just the chance it may hit a 9.6?

Been there, done that - I'd rather sell it raw.
