Ultimate X-Men #31-#33 – a real step up in quality, and about time as well.

Ultime Cataclysm #0.1 – a pretty good story not helped by some atrocius art.

 

All New X-Men #18 – costume change for the original X-Mem and the book suddenly goes down in quality.

Captain America Living Legend #3 – most excellent.

Fearless Defenders #11 – pretty good.

Savage Wolverine #11 – more crappy art and pointless writing.

Superior Spiderman #21 – amazingly good.

Superior Foes of Spiderman #5 – somewhat entertaining.

Thor God of Thunder #15 – terrible.

Wolverine #11 – garbage.

Looks like the Ultimate U is putting out quality stuff just in time to be destroyed ? I hope they don't do that. I've never read the second volume of Ultimate Spider-man because of my bias towards Peter Parker but after Superior Spider-man, I'm becoming a little more open minded.

I got a copy of superior spiderman #1 for cover. i can't believe how bad the new spiderman is. Doc ock in the body. Mean. Parker as Deathlok puter in his brain. Marvel is dead.

It gets better, at least to me. I wasn't thrilled at first but it grew on me and now it's a top stack book.

I like a lot of them but it really picked up for me around issue 5. It ain't Peter Parker and will never be as good as the best of the original or even 1st Ultimate series but it is a different take on Spidey and Doc Ock.
