In Praise of Mike McKone

So often we read horror stories about getting commissions. . . Here's some good news for a change.

 

On Tuesday, 4/3/2012, I contacted Arthur Shotten through CAF about a Mike McKone Wonder Woman watercolor commission. Art got back to me and I paid for the art that same day. Normal turnaround was scheduled for 2-3 weeks. I received the artwork today (4/9/2012)!!!! Turnaround time was less than one week!!! Now I can't speak for Mike that is the norm but DAMN!!

I have gotten a few commissions from Mike and he has always easy to deal with and very quick. I highly recommend getting a commission from mckone.

I've got 4 sketch cover commissions done by Mike and wow they all have been a quick turnaround time, he's a super nice guy to message back and forth and even gave me a few critiques on my own art.

I have commissioned Mike twice, and both pieces turned out great, and were done very quickly. I add my recommendation of him to all of the others in this thread above me.
