I think the problem is the one book does go a bit too far racially. The corner blurb is a bit rough, and not really clever or funny.

This brings back a LOT of memories. I used to love those books. I only wish I saved mine. Now as a 'picker'; I am always on the hunt for these.

Did you notice the World War II Code Breaker is illustrated by Alex Nino?

It was one of the reasons I picked it up!
