Has DC ever reprinted or Archived any of the first 26 issues of DETECTIVE COMICS

Are there reprints or Archive issues of DETECTIVE COMICS #1 to #26?

 

If not... why?

They did a Detective Comics 1 Millennium Edition.

The pre Batman issues are often overlooked and rarely reprinted for that reason.

Those issues are 68 pages each (including covers), so the page count for 26 issues would be 1,768!

Other that the 1st issue I don't think they ever reprinted any of them.

Try the Millennium Edition as a sampler.

 

I found it quite unreadable overall, and  I can't imagine trying to wade through 26 issues.  Interesting historically as a snapshot of the period, some early Siegel, Shuster, Flessel, but I don't think an Omnibus would sell many copies.
