Yeah, they should. Anything 9.4 and below should have graders notes is what I was told by CGC. 9.6's are maybe's. 9.8's usually won't have notes.

I got four 9.6's back a few weeks ago from one shipment/submission, and only 1 of the 4 had graders notes.

That's because they gifted you a bunch of 9.6's and if they made notes, they would've had to give you 8.0's like they should've

I live in the part of the universe without a LCS, so I have to do my digging around online None of the towns close to mine have a LCS either. My home-town use to have one, but it didn't last. Oh well...

Go for it... I'm tapped on this one (got 27 copies). Ordered 5 of the 2nd print, 5 of #3, and 5 of #4. We'll see how it turns out.

I read somewhere they did if it's 9.4 or lower.

 

Guess i need to rephrase, why would you pay for grader notes for this book? Obviously something really big was missed.

I'll wait to get it back to see if I can see for myself what the defects are. If I really can't find it, then i'll fork over the $5.

Agreed. I was going through a few Revival #1 two days ago and the covers looked great, BUT there was a slight dent/cut on a few of the inside pages (looks like a manufacturer defect). I put these on the lower end of my stack.

I pretty much just got it and sent to CGC. I rarely look at the inside of the issues.

probably why i've never had a 9.9 but for moderns, i don't spend a ton of time looking through the pages, i'll glance at the corners and how it lies flat on a table. Hard to tell what CGC spends most of their time on when they grade...i'm sure older comics get a more thorough look inside.

 

i probably get burned on the alignment of the staples.
