Got in nine books yesterday. Four of them looked really good (maybe a few 9.8's), one of them was slightly damage with a hard spine crease, and the last four looked like this...

Revival 1 damages by ryanbradshaw.co, on Flickr[/img]

I emailed the guy and I'm sure he'll do a refund/exchange. Should have packed with cardboard and tape, trapping them in from banging around

yup, I hate that!!! you order a "lot" or multiple comics to make it worthwhile shipping cost but you take the risk of comics being damaged due to shifting and moviing around from poor packaging because these "sellers" do not have the common sence to wrap it in cardboard to prevent bending. Its just a let down you. Now the guy at the top has to return the 4 copies which he probably wanted due to poor shipping methods..

*ouch* sorry to see that :(

Well can't wait for the next few issues to see where this story is going and to actually have something to talk about other than the speculation. These boards make the waits seem so much longer.

On the speculation front from what I recall Cover B is at about 1500 (?) and the 3rd eye cover is at 1000. I still think I'd rate Cover B as the one to get.

Looking at how say TWD #85 Infinity variant is doing after all this time, it doesn't seem that there is a global interest in store variants. Most of those #85's are signed too as Adlard is a friend of the store. The difference seems to be with sketch variants that hold another level of prestige; so a store sketch variant would probably do better.

Just a thought.

Edit: or does an #1 change the perspective slightly?

On the bright side... there are verifiably 4 LESS high grade comics of Revival #1 cover A (demand should go through the roof - :golfclap:)

i was thinking the print run of Revival 1 would be higher than 15k....but never know, won't find out for another week or so.

may as well shoot for the moon and grab up CBLDF copies.

Yeah, I'd figure the print run is around 20K which would put cover B around 2K, third eye at 1000 and CBLDF at 500.

I wish more of the threads talked about the books themselves but when you have a month to wait, it's usually spoiler tags for the first week, then general discussion for a week, then speculation and eBay prices for 2 weeks until the new issue comes out.

I'm really tempted to sell my last #1 cgc 9.8 on eBay just as a social experiment. I have 13 watchers on the 9.4 third eye. Someone better buy it, lol

Would it be the first one on there? If so, I'd run it as a no reserve auction with a low starting bid. You'll probably do pretty damn well.

Yeah, it'd be the first one which is what I was thinking. I know some people on the boards have contacted me about it. I already sold 2 to boardies. I am planning on keeping a full run of this at 9.8+ but I have other raws that should grade 9.8. I've just never been first to eBay and figured it'd be fun. Although If it sells for $20, i'll be pissed, lol
