Check it, if it is in VF/NM condition it is worth in the $70-100 range.

I think the rules are there to stop people making derogatory comments about what's offered. valliant was saying something positive and pointing out how rare the book was. No harm in that.

What he said was that manicnerd got a deal. It implies (although I'm almost certain it wasn't intentional) that manicnerd's offer is not of the same monetary value. Maybe I just inferred incorrectly. In either case, I think the rule of not mentioning monetary values is a good one in all cases here.
