I've been involved with this thread since NamesJay started it. I'm the one who asked Arch to make it a sticky thread so we could keep it on the front page, because at first, that was the only way to give this thread a chance. I still check the thread every time I log in. But more and more lately, anytime there are more than 5 new posts in the thread, it's because of arguing over an offer rather than offers moving. I'm not siding either way on the current issue, nor am I going to offer a suggestion for a solution such as a rule change because as adults, I expect the participants to understand the point of this thread, and act accordingly. That seems to be wishful thinking, but it is what it is.

 

That said, let's get the thread back on track. Mkkiller, :takeit:

I am going to list a bunch of options. These will be clearly labeled with the word Option.

 

Please pick ONE of these options.

Option 1: Kurt Busiek's magnum opus Astro City just relaunched this month with a new series under the Vertigo imprint. So if you've been wondering just what the fuss has been all about for the past 15+ years, here's your chance to get in on the ground floor of one of the best superhero series ever made.

 

Included is a complete run of the original six issue Astro City series that started it all! Every one of these issues is an indisputable classic. Meet Samaritan, Winged Victory, Crackerjack, Silver Agent and the rest of the Astro City gang. Also, Cap makes out with a blue elf lady even though he's still in a relationship with Sharon Carter. What happens in Niffelheim stays in Niffelheim, I guess. Art by the great Alan Davis! Writing by the incredibly terrible Brian Michael Bendis! Hey, you can't win 'em all.
