In response to reports of nationwide sell-outs on its Amazing Spider-Man #509, Marvel Comics has announced plans for the rush-solicited Amazing Spider-Man #509 Director's Cut (MAY045302D)! This 48-page special sports a cardstock cover and a SRP of $3.99, carries a Final Order Cut-Off (FOC) date of Thursday, July 8, and is scheduled to arrive in stores on July 28 -- the same day as Amazing Spider-Man #510

 

Rush-solicited so all the poor fans who missed out can get a copy conveniently priced at $3.99. Say hello to the "foil enhanced, embossed, gatefold variant" of the 2000's.
