Was this the one from the Sparkle City comics auction? I think I was watching this one. I have one that I think is a 9.4 or 9.6, but I was waiting to see what this went for before sending it to CGC.

I am amazed at how much these Phoenix issues have gone up. I can't even look at an X-men #101 over 9.0. Do agree, great looking cover...and first Proteus! Congrats!

Hey guys..yeah, this is the one that sparkle city was listing the other night. I paid a bit much for it though but, I'm happy with it. I ended up paying 160.00 for it! I seen another for a bit less but it was in an older case. So I decided to just go with this one. And Sparkle City is so professional, I actually know what I'm getting!

Sparkle City rocks...though they are getting such a great reputation, the bids eventually follow suit (and are trending now towards the upward eschalons). That's the name of the game though. Congrats on the key issue, beautiful indeed.
