Suggestions on new reading material

E good reading material. To stop suggestions that I have already read I will provide a list of what I have done already:

Most Allan Moore stuff

Preacher

Cerebus the first three collected volumes

The walking dead

Marvel zombies

Nearly all frank Miller's stuff

Most Daniel Clowes

Lots of crumb

Nearly all Harvey Pekar's works

 

I really like batman and darker more adult story lines. All time favourite would be preacher so I was thinking about crossed. Even though I read walking dead up to issue 96 I didn't really enjoy it but I love zombie stuff. I started chew the other day but hate the art.

And MEGA-CITY masters Vol 1-3 are at Amazon.com for great prices and they are great reads.

If you are looking for darker titles I'd reccomend the current ongoing Hellraiser series (writen by Clive Barker himself )

The new SwampThing series has been fantastic so far.

Jeff Lemire's Sweet Tooth is a great read and is often over looked.

And Tim Vigil's and David Quinn's Superpsycho masterpiece FAUST is being re-released in a few months to coincide with the last 2 issues in the series later this year.

OP didn't list alot of superhero either. You don't sell someone looking fit a minivan a mini cooper.

 

For great stuff from the big two, look for the current Batman, animal man and swamp thing books. Marvel has Daredevil, uncanny xforce and scarlet spider currently. I also have really enjoyed hickmans FF run.

 

In the last few years, anything cosmic from marvel, starting with annihilation, is great. Immortal Iron Fist was great. Theres lots of good stuff out there if you look for it.
