Grading question

3 posts in this topic

Wasnt sure if I should post there here or the grading forum, so forgive me if this is the wrong area. I've ran into this a few times now, with comics that have all white covers, or mostly white. You see the colors from the next page kind of bleed over. I purchased a copy of Happy! today, and when I got home, noticed that the colors from the other pages are bleeding through.

I'm new to collecting, but does this compromise any value the comic would have? Does the grade lower on something like this? I imagine it makes it less desired.

Either way, Just curious to hear some replies. I can post a picture later if anyone would like to see, but it seems pretty standard. I've seen it on Saga, Happy, and Manhattan Project now.
